Services and Rates
We visit either once a day, twice or more a day, which-ever works for you and your cat(s). Each visit is up to 30 mins, depending on your cat(s) mood. We clean all feeding bowls/plates, refresh water and food and scoop dirty litter. We can also bring in papers, mail and water plants. The balance of the time is spent on how your cat chooses. It can be playing, brushing or cuddling. With a very shy cat it may just be our presence until they’re comfortable with us. We will not force them into liking us by staying in their space until they permit it.
Once daily full vacation visit for up to 30 minutes: $45 per visit

“Pop-N” or “Tuck-N”
Shorter service to check in and feed a meal. Only available to clients who schedule a full visit in same day, and for depart or return days: $30 per Pop-N/Tuck-N visit

OTHER NOTES ABOUT VISITS
Due to the nature of our service, we cannot offer guaranteed visit times on single visit days. However, we will do our very best to accommodate your requests. Twice daily clients get prioritized with their preferred timing, as do kitties on medications and those who only eat wet food. If you have concerns, please ask! We do not offer every other day vacation visits, as they are not ideal for monitoring feline health.

All baths include comb out, nail trim, bath and hand finish drying.
Complete litterbox cleaning: $25
Did you know that your cat’s litter box should be emptied and scrubbed clean periodically? When we care for your cats, we expect the condition of the litterbox to be decent. If it is not and we need to do a complete cleaning and litter refill, this fee will be assessed. You can also request this service if you would like us to wash the litterbox for you.
Errand run: $30 plus the cost of supplies
We all have hectic schedules and I understand if you run out of something. If we need to go out and purchase something for your cats while you are gone, this fee will be assessed.
In-Home Consult / key pick-ups: $25 / Free
The first meet and greet (In-Home Consult) with key pick-up/drop-off is $25. If we are just doing a key hand-off or drop-off, it’s free of charge. If something changes in your home and you’d like to go over details with us again, we can do a re-introduction for $25. Additional key pick-ups/drop-offs are free.
Extended snuggle visits/Extra visit time: $20 up to 30 minutes after initial 30 mins visit fee.
If you have more than two cats in your home, there is an additional fee of $15 per day per cat over two. We recommend longer visits for more than three (3) cats to make sure each cat gets the individual attention and pampering they deserve.
ABOUT THE MEET AND GREET (IN-HOME CONSULT): $25
Meeting cats in their home is very different than meeting them in a shelter, etc. because when we come into your home, we are entering their territory. When possible, we like to meet them by the entry for the kitties to check us out. We do this because we want them to remember our scent when we arrive later without you there to condone our presence. If your kitty has a favorite interactive toy, or treats we can offer, that also helps reassure them that we are friends. Routine is important to a cat(s) and even though we cannot replace you, we’ll be there to feed and/or play with them and then will leave, and things will be as they remember with the two of you being together and stress-free. Our goal, from the feline perspective, is to be a fun, cuddly, food-bearing distraction between naps while you are away.
At the meeting we will go over their daily care routine and we’ll also pick up sets of tested keys.
ABOUT SHY CATS
We love working with shy and complicated cats! If you have kitties who are shy or nervous/aggressive around new people, please let us know so we can plan how best to approach your kitty. We will try not to ring the buzzer to alert them of a new person when we arrive for the meet and greet of a shy cat and will call instead. We do our best to respect the boundaries of all kitties – especially those who are apprehensive. We do need to put eyes on them every visit so that we know they are doing well. Please provide favorite hiding spots. It is very rare that a kitty hides for more than a visit or two while under our care. In saying this, we do not stress shy kitties by sitting or staying in their home for full 30 mins. We will give them their space back soonest to ensure their comfort. Exposing your cats to safe, cat loving humans can help them as they go through life because they may need medications and care from those other than yourself in the future. It’s never too late to help your kitties start to accept new people. Increased comfort around others will no doubt improve their quality of life (and yours) down the road.
We are glad to send updates to you via text or email ($2 per cat, per visits). Some twice daily clients request updates after every visit so don’t be shy, you’re not the only one! We really enjoy sharing progress and pictures with our clients. Please do not worry if you do not hear from us right away, as technology occasionally fails or we’re late sending an update. We will never miss a visit with your kitties but if we do miss an update, you can be sure that another update is soon to follow! Also, we understand needing to get away for a while, so we are just as happy to send fewer or no updates, if you prefer. As a Mission Cats client, you may update your preferences regarding updates format and frequency in the client profile so we will know your wishes prior to each trip. We want to make your time away is as comfortable, stress free, and worry free as possible, for everyone involved. Please be sure to inform us once you have returned home, if it’s earlier than planned. We are more than willing to continue to visit your kitties if you are delayed given enough advance notice.
We require a 25% deposit to hold a reservation. If cancelled with 7 days or more notice prior to your appointment, you will be refunded the deposit. Less than 7 days, all payments are non-refundable. Holiday periods are as follows: Memorial Day, July 4th, August 26-September 4, November 18-26 and December 20 – January 5.
We have a 5 visit minimum during our peak November 18-26 holiday period; and a 7 visit minimum stay during December 20-January 5.
